band bio
CroTech is an unsigned band from San Pedro, California, which is about a half-hour drive from Los Angeles at the L.A. Harbor. The band just recently changed their name from 'Starbuch' to CroTech. At one time 'Starbuch' was also spelled 'Starbuck'. The band was formed by longtime friends John Aralica and Tone(Tony) Viducic. The idea of the band started back in the beginning of 1996, but didn't actually take off until a year later in 1997. The two faced every possilble problem imaginable to get the band together, and only recently have the two finnally found some kind of consistancy.
The two now have added a new member, Tony Chlup, on the drums, after three previous drummers, and numerous drum auditioners. The band has just released a new self-produced 6-song CD on their own independent label SHAB Records. The CD was co-produced by Pete Mazich. The CD is available here online or at live shows. The band is in the process of establishing deals with local record stores and internet retail CD sites.
The band features John Aralica (28) on Vocals and
Guitar, Tone Viducic (28) on guitar, and Tony Chlup (26) on drums. The
band is currenlty managed by Tom Grskovic. CroTech is seeking a distributor
or label to pick-up the CD. The band performs locally in the greater Los
Angeles area and is also seeking a Promotional or Management Group for
addition shows. The band has played shows under the previous name 'Starbuch'.
Thanks to the internet and word of mouth, CroTech has interest as far as
Croatia. Crotech has received international press in Croatia this fall
and was interviewed live on Croatian Radio this summer. CroTech also has
been given airplay on Croatian radio.
