We're still in Croatian cow country and can't wait to get to the Dalmatian coast. Last Wednesday's show blew major chunks and tonight we're just hoping some people show up. What can we say, we've gotten quite spolied on this tour with the big crowds. We spent Thursday doing absolutely nothing after we arrived in Bjelovar in the afternoon. We went to a pizzaria for dinner and that was about all the excite we could muster. Tried to go to the local movie theater to see "Gladiator" but the projector or something wasn't working.
Showtime. We get a soundcheck, there's a lot of
people in the club and I think Tom get a BJ so we're all quite happy. John
returns to the rakija and brings a big bottle on stage with him. The show
is ok, the audience were all hopping around. I guess they don't get much
action in Bjelovar. Acutally I think the whole country doesn't! Some of
the songs were a little sloppy or too slow, but in all an ok show. Tony's
back started to bother him mid-way through the set, which so far hadn't
been a factor on the tour. We see what happens tomorrow.
